By the time my daughter had finally popped out her first tooth we had been through the ringer with teethers - literally. We not only melted three trying to sterilize them, but we lost countless others and sometimes resorted to wet wash clothes in times of despair.
Many women make the decision to leave jewelry off their person to avoid risking baby damaging them.
