By now the name Hector Cruz may be a bit familiar to you. After starting a national campaign regarding the issues with public breastfeeding, he's making headlines that may be a bit confusing. With pictures of men "breastfeeding" babies, you might think he is pushing to normalize men's breastfeeding, but you'd be far from correct.

When his wife started having problems breastfeeding their first daughter, Hector began educating himself. After researching and finding tons of negative feedback, Mr. Cruz decided to embark on this journey by best means possible. Using his talent as a professional photographer, he gathered local Dads to create billboards in support of breastfeeding.

With all the struggles we go through as breastfeeding Mothers, it's time we band together to normalize our most basic instinct as women. Breastfeeding is beautiful, safe and natural for our babies, as well as ourselves. And if we are feeding modestly, we shouldn't be forced into public bathrooms or stuffed into hot cars.
