Fall Maternity Deals

This time last year I was pregnant, and I didn't even know it. I've been there, I was super pregnant during the cold winter months, and wasn't able to find anything warm enough (or big enough) to cover my gigantic belly. I struggled to even find a short sleeve shirt that was completely worn out by the end of my pregnancy. However, Zulily has some fabulous deals just in time for Thanksgiving!

Jeans ended up being a staple piece in my wardrobe, mostly because it was cold and I worked in an office. I couldn't find leggings to save my life, let alone a dress. Next time my husband better be ready, because this is where I will be scouting for some great maternity clothes. These skinnies are each $10!

After I was finally able to locate a pair of leggings I went every day trying to find a way to wear them. All of my tunics were way too short with a baby belly, so I ended up mostly sporting them around the house or when we visited a friend. But I paid way more than this deal, because you can score a pair for under $8!

And in my town, you can forget about finding a maternity dress! I had to purchase one from ASOS, a clothing company based in the UK. By the time I finally purchased it, although the shipping was super fast, I only wore it once. Now, there are a couple more expensive options in this Fall Savings Collection, but I am more of a stickler when it comes to price tags. These two dresses, and one tunic, are all $20 or under.

Belabumbum Bra Review

Two weeks ago I made a purchase from Zulily while they ran a Belabumbum nursing bra and maternity undies deal. The sale noted all items would take 12-16 days for delivery, but the prices were more than half off including shipping! Luckily, I was able to find two bras in my size, and threw in one pair of matching underwear just to even out the total (which was a steal in itself as well).

When I got home from work yesterday a nice little package was folded into my mailbox (thanks postman!). After I made the trek up my driveway, I ripped open the side with anticipation. Every item was individually shrink wrapped inside the waterproof packaging. Zulily included a cute little thank you card, with a neat crossword puzzle on the back (I haven't completed that yet).

After trying one bra on I was nearly disappointed that it seemed too big, so I decided they should all take a ride in the washer and dryer. About an hour later I tried them on again to find that they fit exactly as I had measured them for. There's still some room in the cups, but I am expecting to go up a little once my milk "comes in". The undies were comfortable too, and very cute! I'm extremely happy at the lack of an elastic band, as those seem to shift around and dig into my skin quite often at work.

The overall quality of Belabumbum's lingerie set seems very good, although they're made in Brazil. I like the lace, even though it's my first lacy anything, I find them rather comfy by themselves and under clothing. The clips on the nursing bra are easy to detach and reattach, with a little different design than I was expecting. You simply come at the male end with the female end at an angle and then clip it down into a flat secured position.

If you're looking for some nursing accessories for the arrival of your little one, I would highly suggest Belabumbum whether you find it on sale through invitation shopping, or decide to make the purchase through their web site. I am currently debating spending the little bit extra to get some other styles since I feel happy with their products. Hopefully you'll find them just as great as I have, good luck deal hunting!
