I know there are many women out there like me, first time moms who are hoping to experience a natural birth. Although this will be my first baby, I am confident that labor and delivery is meant to be a beautiful experience - but I guess I'll know when April comes around. In the mean time I am so bad about scouring my Google reader to find blog entries about birth stories.
My sister-in-law came across a very interesting read. Like my Mom, this lady has babies in a crazy amount of time, and no one seems to believe her. My own Mother had babies so fast my brother was barely born in the hospital, I was born in a car, my little brother at home, and my little sister nearly hit the floor because the doctor didn't want to listen to my Mom that she was coming out!
They say that the labor experience is based on genetics - and while that may be true, it isn't always for some women. Here's to hoping I take after my Mother, and don't go much quicker than she (I live 40 minutes away from the nearest hospital!).
